Understanding SPF Generation
What is an SPF Record?
An SPF (Sender Policy Framework) record is a DNS TXT record that lists the mail servers and IP addresses that are authorized to send email on behalf of your domain. It acts as a public whitelist for your domain's allowed senders.
Why do you need SPF?
Without SPF, malicious actors can easily forge your email domain and send spam or phishing emails appearing to come from you. SPF helps receiving mail servers detect and block these forged emails, protecting your domain's reputation.
