What is BIMI?
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) is an email specification that enables the display of brand logos next to authenticated email messages in supported mail clients.
Prerequisites for BIMI
- Strong DMARC Policy: Your domain must have a DMARC policy of
p=quarantineorp=reject. - SVG Logo: Your logo must be an SVG file that strictly adheres to the SVG Tiny Portable Secure (PS) profile.
- VMC (Optional but common): A Verified Mark Certificate validates your trademarked logo. Providers like Gmail and Apple Mail often require this.
